These Terms govern your use of Oatpad (the “App”) and website at oatpad.app (the “Site”). By using the App or Site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Product

Oatpad is a downloadable macOS notes application. The App is provided as-is for personal and professional note-taking.

2. Trial and License

The App includes a free 14-day trial. After the trial, a license key is required to continue editing notes. Without an active license, the App enters read-only mode — your notes remain accessible, but you cannot create or edit them.

When you purchase Oatpad, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on up to 2 devices.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy (or other payment providers). Pricing is displayed at checkout. Taxes may apply based on your location.

4. Acceptable Use

• Do not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the App except where law permits.
• Do not use the Site or App for unlawful activities.

5. Updates

The App may check for and install updates automatically. We may provide updates, fixes, and improvements at our discretion.

6. Disclaimer

The App and Site are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App or Site.
